This course was designed for power plant developers, managers,engineers, operators, maintenance technicians, and other personnelrequiring general gas turbine familiarization, specifically in theareas of operation of aero-derivative and industrial gas turbineengines. Participants gained a general understanding of the innerworkings of gas turbines and the underlying engineering principlesfrom which they are designed. Providing a broad- basedfamiliarization with gas turbine technology features, operationsand maintenance concepts to maintenance, operation, engineering andmanagement staff, the course outlines the principles of heattransfer and thermodynamics and compares aero-derivative andindustrial gas turbine technologies.
