This Standard establishes physical, material, testing, and markingrequirements for 6 Liter water closets that incorporate awater-conserving, dual-flushing feature into the fixture.  Thetests specified in this Standard are for the removal of liquidwastes and toilet tissue or other comparable waste loads that areexpected when actuating the reduced flush feature of the unit. Theuse of alternate materials or methods is permitted, provided thatthe proposed material and method comply with the performancerequirements and the intent of this Standard.
