This Subsection contains requirements for the material, design,fabrication, and examination required in the manufacture andinstallation of core support structures. Core support structuresare those structures or parts of structures which are designed toprovide direct support or restraint of the core (fuel & blanketassemblies) within the reactor pressure vessel.

This publication is issued with an automatic addendaservice.  All addenda service publications are issued in looseleaf format to facilitate later insertion of replacement pageswhich incorporate the latest approved changes to thestandard.  Purchasers may wish to purchase a binder from ASME(BPVC Binder), but the publication will alsofit a standard three ring binder.  The addenda serviceincludes all updates issued prior to publication of the nextedition in July 2013.
