This standard provides stardardized symbols for heating, ventilating and air conditioning for use on drawings. Architects, contractors, and engineers, by the use of these symbols on their plans, will have a standard method of indication heating, ventilating and air conditioning and will help to aviod confusion in the interpretations of requirements.
