This method is for determining total aromatics in Molexn-paraffin products. The method determines an average amountof naphthalenes and alkylbenzenes that may be present, provided theconcentration of the alkylbenzenes is at least ten times greaterthan the naphthalenes. In practice, this condition is satisfied forthe specified applications. Other samples with similar compositionsmay also be suitable for this analysis. The lower limit ofdetection is 0.0003 mass-%.
