Описание
Область примененияThis method is for determining hydrocarbon distribution inpetroleum naphtha, kerosene (jet fuel), and diesel derived fromoxygenated feedstocks such as vegetable or tallow oils in the rangeof C3 to C39. Specific components of aboiling point of 85° C (C6) and less are identifiedindividually. Higher boiling normal paraffins are identifiedindividually, while the non-normals are grouped according toapproximate carbon number distribution. The lower limit ofquantitation for any compound or grouping is 0.01 mass %. Due tonon-normals eluting at n-paraffin sites, the lower limit ofquantitation for n-paraffins may not be as low. Components ofC3 and lower molecular weight should not be consideredquantitative due to their volatility, see Note.

This procedure is not appropriate for analyzing oxygenatedfeed-stocks prior to the deoxygenation stage in the EcoFiningprocess. Residual oxygenates in feedstocks may not elute from theinstrument and are not quantified by this analysis.
