This method is for the titrimetric determination of carbondioxide in ethanolamine solutions used for scrubbing gas streamssuch as those found in hydrogen plants that contain only carbondioxide as the acidic contaminant. The presence of hydrogen sulfideor sulfur dioxide will produce high results, since these componentswill be included in the titration.
