This publication presents research data covering corrosion andfracture mechanics of metals, primarily steel, aluminum, andtitanium. The papers presented are primarily research in naturealthough several papers deal with application technology. Thepapers address: mechanics and basic metal characteristics, theeffects of the environments of metals and crack initiation andpropagation, engineering design considerations, and electrochemicalconsiderations.
