This standard specifies the method for the determination of the flexural strength and flexural modulus
of carbon fibre reinforced plastics in the form of unidirectional laminates by a flexural test.
This method is only applicable to specimens where the length is parallel to the direction of the fibres.
NOTE : The elastic modulus measured by this method can only be considered as an
approximate value for YOUNGs modulus.
Das beschriebene Verfahren dient zur Bestimmung der Biegefestigkeit und des Biegemoduls. Aufgrund der bis zum Bruch durchgeführten Biegeprüfung wird die Dehnung parallel zur Faserrichtung in Abhängigkeit von der aufgebrachten Beanspruchung abgeleitet.
