This standard speciles the charactenstics of fibrecernent pipes and joints for use under pressure
for conveying potable and non potable water and sewage.
It is conmed with composition, dassification, geometrical, meehanical and physical
characteristics, acceptance tests and type tests.
NOTE : Other media may be wnveyed provided it is compatible with the fibre-cement pipes
and joints. A full discussion should take place between the custorner and the manufadurer
to detemine if the pipes and joints need additional protection.
Diese Europaische Norm enthalt Vorschriften fur Rohre und Kupplungen aus Faserzement zum Gebrauch als Druckleitungen fur den Transport von Trink-, Gebrauchs- und Abwasser. Faserzementdruckrohre konnen auch zur Forderung anderer Medien eingesetzt werden unter der Voraussetzung, da? diese mit dem Rohrmaterial kompatibel sind. Weiters sind Festlegungen uber die Zusammensetzung (werkstoffbezogen), die Klassifizierung, Abmessungen, mechanische und physikliasche Eigenschaften, Abnahmeprufungen und Typenprufungen enthalten.
