This standard specifies a method for determining the resistance of unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) pipes
to dichloromethane at a specified temperature (DCMT).
This standard is applicable to PVC-U pipes, irrespective of their use.
The method can be used as a rapid means of quality control during manufacture.
NOTE The temperature of the dichloromethane at which PVC-U shall not be attacked, is specified in the referring standard.
Diese Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Beständigkeit von Rohren aus weichmacherfreiem
Polyvinylchlorid (PVC-U) gegen Dichlormethan (Methylenchlorid) bei einer festgelegten Temperatur (DCMT)
fest.
Diese Norm gilt für Rohre aus PVC-U, unabhängig von deren Anwendung.
Das Verfahren kann als schnelles Hilfsmittel zur Qualitätskontrolle während der Herstellung verwendet
werden.
ANMERKUNG Die Temperatur von Dichlormethan, bei der PVC-U nicht angegriffen werden darf, ist in der
bezugnehmenden Norm festgelegt.
