This International Standard specifies general performance requirements for ergonomics, innocuousness, size designation, ageing, compatibility and marking of protective clothing and the information to be supplied by the manufacturer with the protective clothing.This International Standard is only intended to be used in combination with other standards containing requirements for specific protective performance and not on a stand-alone basis.
Diese Internationale Norm legt allgemeine Leistungsanforderungen an die Ergonomie, die Unschädlichkeit, die Größenbezeichnung, die Alterung, die Verträglichkeit und die Kennzeichnung von Schutzkleidung sowie an die Informationen, die der Hersteller mit der Schutzkleidung mitliefern muss, fest. Diese Internationale Norm soll nur in Kombination mit anderen Normen angewendet werden, die Anforderungen an spezifische Schutzleistungen enthalten und nicht für sich allein.
