This International Standard specifies the characteristics of prevailing torque type hexagon nuts (with non-metallic insert), style 1, with threads from M3 up to and including M36, in product grade A for threads up to and including M16 and product grade B for threads above M16, and with property classes 5, 8 and 10.
NOTE: The dimensions of the nuts correspond to those given in ISO 4032 plus prevailing torque feature. If other specifications are required, they should be selected from existing International Standards, for example ISO 261, ISO 965-2, ISO 2320 and ISO 4759-1.
Für Sechskantmuttern aus Stahl mit Klemmteil und nichtmetallischem Einsatz (Typ 1) sind für die Produktklassen A und B die Maße und die technischen Lieferbedingungen für die Festigkeitsklassen 5, 8 und 10 festgelegt. Die Produktklasse A umfaßt die Gewindedimensionen von M 3 bis einschließlich M 16 und die Produktklasse B die Gewindedimensionen über M 16 bis einschließlich M 36. Ein Bezeichnungsbeispiel ist angegeben.
