Formerly under the jurisdiction of Committee C11 on Gypsum and Related Building Materials and Systems, this specification was withdrawn in December 2004 and replaced by Specification C 1396/C 1396M for Gypsum Board.

Note 1—Specification C 840 contains application procedures for gypsum wallboard.
