This document covers a test method for the determination of glass transition temperature (GTT) of polymers by
differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) or differential thermal analysis (DTA).
This test method is applicable to polymers in granular form (below 60 mesh, < 250 u, avoiding grinding if possible)
or to any fabricated shape from which appropriate samples can be cut.
This test method is useful for specification acceptance.
This test method determines the structural behaviour of a polymer according to the variations of temperatures.
Dieses Dokument legt ein Prüfverfahren für die Bestimmung der Glasübergangstemperatur (GTT –Glass
Transition Temperature) von Polymeren mittels Differentialscanningkalorimetrie (DSC Differential Scanning
Calorimetry) oder Differentialthermoanalyse (DTA Differential Thermal Analysis) fest.
Dieses Prüfverfahren ist auf Polymere in körniger Form (Maschenweite kleiner als 60, 250 u, möglichst
unter Vermeidung von Schleifwirkung) oder auf jede andere Herstellungsform anwendbar, aus der geeignete
Proben entnommen werden können.
Dieses Prüfverfahren ist bei der Annahme von Spezifikationen anwendbar.
Dieses Prüfverfahren bestimmt das strukturelle Verhalten eines Polymers in Abhängigkeit von Temperatur-
änderungen.
