This International Standard defines current terms
concerning metal hoses, metal hose assemblies and
component parts.
This International Standard applies to:
a) stripwound metal hoses and hose assemblies;
b) corrugated metal hoses and hose assemblies.
NOTE 1 These hoses may be used braided, covered or
lined.
NOTE 2 In addition to terms used in two of the three
official ISO languages (English and French), this International
Standard gives the equivalent terms in German,
Italian and Dutch; these are published under the responsibility
of the member body for Germany (DIN), Italy (UNI)
and the Netherlands (NEN). However, only the terms and
definitions given in the official languages can be considered
as ISO terms and definitions.
Diese Norm definiert derzeit übliche Begriffe bezogen auf flexible Metallschläuche, flexible Metallschlauchleitungen und Bauteile. Sie gilt für a) flexible gewickelte Metallschläuche und für b) flexible gewellte Metallschläuche. Diese Schläuche werden ohne Überzug verwendet oder auf der Außen- und/oder Innenseite zur Verbesserung ihrer Leistungsmerkmale mit geeigneten Werkstoffen umhüllt bzw. ausgekleidet.
