The objective of ICOD 2010 was to provide a forum for researchers,educators, engineers, and government officials involved in thegeneral areas of Optimization Design and Technology to disseminatetheir latest research results and exchange views on the futureresearch directions of these fields.

ICOD received 369 submissions. Ninety-nine papers were acceptedand published in this proceedings.
