This guide covers the preparation of a standard-size test sample and basic tests for physical property determinations of solid thermal break materials.

Formerly under the jurisdiction of Committee D20 on Plastics, this guide was withdrawn in July 2004. This guide was withdrawn in accordance with section 10.5.3.1 of the Regulations Governing ASTM Technical Committees, which requires that standards shall be updated by the end of the eighth year since the last approval date.

1.1 This guide covers the preparation of a standard-size test sample and basic tests for physical property determinations of solid thermal break materials.

1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.

Note 1-There is no similar or equivalent ISO standard.
