1.1 This practice contains the characterization and performancecriteria to be met by a high-dose radiation dosimetry calibrationlaboratory. By meeting these criteria, the laboratory may beaccredited by a recognized accreditation organization. Adherence tothese criteria will ensure high standards of performance andinstill confidence that the accredited laboratory is competent toprovide reliable, accurate services.
