This method is for determining total chloride in gaseoushydrocarbons or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at concentrationsranging from approximately 1 to 1000 ng/mL for gas or mass-ppm(�g/g) for LPG. Except for fluoride, other halogens present arecalculated as chloride. Chloride cannot be determinedquantitatively if sulfur is present at concentrations greater thanapproximately 1 mass-%, see Note 1.
