This European Standard specifies a method of test simulating practical conditions for establishing
whether a product for hygienic handwash reduces the release of transient flora according to the
requirernents when used for washing the artificially contaminated hands of volunteen.
This European Standard applies to products for hygienic handwash for use in areas and
situations where disinfection is medically indicated. Such indications occut in patient care, for
example :
- in hospitals, in community medical facilities and in dental institutions ;
- in clinics of schools, of kindergardens and of nursing homes.
and may occur in the workplace and in the home. It may also include services such as laundries
and kitchens supplying products directly for the patient.
Diese Norm beschreibt ein Prüfverfahren, das praktische Bedingungen simuliert und festlegt, ob ein zu prüfendes Produkt für die desinfizierende Händewaschung die Abgabe der transienten Flora entsprechend den Anforderungen verringert, wenn es für das Waschen der künstlich kontaminierten Hände von freiwilligen Probanden verwendet wird.
