This International Standard specifies designations
for filier materials for soft soldering, brazing and
braze welding, on the basis of their Chemical com-
Position. For brazing and braze welding materials
only, the designation includes their solidus/liquidus
temperatures.
This International Standard deals only with those
filier metals used in soft soldering, brazing and
braze welding which do not incorporate flux, either
as a covering or as an integral part of the filier material.
Behandelt sind Bezeichnungen für Weich-, Hart- und Fugenlote auf der Basis ihrer chemischen Zusammensetzung. Nur für Hart- und Fugenlote enthält die Bezeichnung ihre Solidus-Liquidus-Temperaturen. Der Anwendungsbereich ist jedoch eingeschränkt auf Lote, die beim Weich-, Hart- und Fugenlöten eingesetzt werden und kein Flußmittel enthalten, weder als Umhüllung noch als Bestandteil.
