The present ÖNORM standard describes the requirements and test methods as well as quality assurance measures for concrete protective liners (CPLs). Sealings made by means of CPLs are considered to be structural, homogeneous concrete protection measures with a positive connection for the corrosion proofing and sealing of concrete buildings in all those cases in which solid, liquid or gaseous (e.g. radon) media occur on the side of the sealing and elevated operational stress exists, for example, because of: the occurrence of water-polluting liquids (e.g. leachate from landfills), abrasion, the risk of concrete corrosion, stress distribution (higher tension in the case of temperature changes), pressure alternation (alternating push/pull action).
Diese ÖNORM beschreibt die Anforderungen und Prüfbestimmungen sowie die Gütesicherung für Betonschutzplatten (BSP). Abdichtungen mit Betonschutzplatten sind in all jenen Fällen konstruktive, kraftschlüssige, homogene Betonschutzmaßnahmen zum Korrosionsschutz und zur Abdichtung von Betonbauwerken, in denen feste, flüssige oder gasförmige (zB Radon) Medien abdichtungsseitig anstehen und erhöhte Betriebsbeanspruchungen, wie zum Beispiel durch Einsatz wassergefährdender Stoffe (zB Sickerwasser aus Deponien), Abrieb, Gefahr der Korrosion von Beton, Spannungsverteilung (erhöhte Spannung bei Temperaturwechsel), Druckwechsel (Wechselwirkung bei Sog/Druck), auftreten.
