Описание
Причина отменыThis test method covered determination of the amount of dilution in crankcase oils of engines when gasoline has been used as the fuel.

Formerly under the jurisdiction of Committee D02 on Petroleum Products, Liquid Fuels, and Lubricants, this test method was withdrawn in November 2022 without replacement. To keep the method current, an ILS must be conducted to generate a research report and new precision statement. A communication was sent to the global ASTM community to communicate the plan to allow these methods to eventually be withdrawn. There were no responses to this communication and no volunteers to lead an ILS. Thus, the method is withdrawn with no replacement.

Значение и использование

5.1 Some fuel dilution of the engine oil may take place during normal operation. However, excessive fuel dilution is of concern in terms of possible performance problems.

Область применения
