The liquid paint dryers that are solutions of six classes of metallic salts, should conform to quantitative requirements such as metal concentration, nonvolative matter content, specific gravity, color, and viscosity. Each type of drier should be a mobile liquid free of sediment and suspended matter and should be stable and miscible with oil.
