This test method covers the evaluation of mass transfer properties of water vapor in films, plastic sheeting, coated papers and laminates.

Formerly under the jurisdiction of Committee F02 on Flexible Barrier Materials, this test method was withdrawn in June 2004.

Область применения

1.1 This test method covers the evaluation of mass transfer properties of water vapor in films, plastic sheeting, coated papers and laminates. Barrier properties reviewed and specified within this method include solubility, diffusivity, and permeability coefficients. This method also includes the means to determine the temperature dependence of these parameters.
