This European Standard specifies a classification of plywood by appearance according to its natural characteristics and
manufacturing defects. This classification may be used to assess the suitability of plywood for finishing.
This Part of EN 635 applies to plywood, the surface veneer of which is made from softwood species. It does not apply to
overlaid panels.
