This part of ISO 80079 specifies the requirements for the design and construction of nonelectrical equipment, intended for use in explosive atmospheres, protected by the types of protection constructional safety “c”, control of ignition source “b” and liquid immersion “k”.
This part of SIO 80079 supplements and modifies the requirements in ISO 80079-36. Where a requirement of this standard conflicts with the requirement of ISO 80079-36 the requirement of this standard takes precedence.
Types of Protection “c”, “k” and “b” are not applicable for Group I, EPL Ma without additional protective precautions.
The types of ignition protection described in the standard can be used either on their own or in combination with each other to meet the requirements for equipment of Group I, Group II, and Group III depending on the ignition hazard assessment in ISO 80079-36.
Dieser Teil von ISO 80079 legt die Anforderungen an die Konstruktion und den Bau von nicht-elektrischen Geräten fest, die für den Einsatz in explosionsfähigen Atmosphären vorgesehen und durch die Zündschutz-arten konstruktive Sicherheit "c", Zündquellenüberwachung "b" und Flüssigkeitskapselung "k" geschützt sind.
Dieser Teil von ISO 80079 ergänzt und modifiziert die Anforderungen in ISO 80079-36. Wenn eine Anforde-rung dieser Norm im Widerspruch zur Anforderung von ISO 80079-36 steht, hat die Anforderung der vorliegenden Norm Vorrang.
Die Schutzarten "c", "k" und "b" gelten ohne zusätzliche Schutzmaßnahmen nicht für Gruppe I, EPL Ma.
Die in der Norm beschriebenen Zündschutzarten können entweder für sich allein oder in Kombination miteinander angewendet werden, um die Anforderungen an Geräte der Gruppe I, Gruppe II und Gruppe III in Abhängigkeit von der Zündgefahrenbewertung in ISO 80079-36 zu erfüllen.
