This International Standard specifies a method for predicting the long-term hydrostatic strength of thermoplastics
materials by statistical extrapolation. The method is applicable to all types of thermoplastics pipe at applicable
temperatures. It was developed on the basis of test data from pipe systems.
Diese Internationale Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Vorhersage der Zeitstand-Innendruckfestigkeit von thermoplastischen
Werkstoffen durch statistische Extrapolation fest. Das Verfahren gilt bei den vorgesehenen
Temperaturen für sämtliche Arten thermoplastischer Rohre. Es wurde auf der Grundlage von Prüfergebnissen
für Rohrsysteme entwickelt.
