Written for managers, facility operators, regulators, and engineers involved in the design and selection of facility components and prevention of liquid petroleum releases, this report presents an overview of available equipment and procedures to prevent, detect or provide environmental protection from such releases. Also presented are the advantages, disadvantages, and relative costs, as well as maintenance and operating parameters of various control measures.
