This specification covers the requirements for UNS C95300, C95400, C95410, C95500, C95800, C87500, C87800, C87850, and C89540 copper alloy permanent mold castings for general applications. UNS C95800 copper alloy used in sea water applications should be heat treated for better corrosion resistance. In general, alloys included in this specification are weldable. Mechanical properties like the tensile strength, yield strength and elongation are determined from separately cast test bar castings and should conform to the specified requirements.
Область применения1.1 This specification establishes requirements for copper alloy permanent mold castings for general applications. Nominal compositions of the alloys under this specification are shown in Table 1.
1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard.
