The metal used in the manufacture of die castings shall be zinc alloy of a specified chemical composition conforming to the specified requirements. Tensile, yield strength, elongation, and hardness properties shall be determined by tension and hardness tests. The die castings shall be of uniform quality, free of injurious discontinuities that will adversely affect their serviceability.
