This practice covers sampling electrical insulating liquids having a viscosity less than 650 cSt at 40C from apparatus for analysis of their gas content or for measurement of water content, or both.
Formerly under the jurisdiction of Committee D27 on Electrical Insulating Liquids and Gases and Subcommittee D27.07 on Physical Test, this practice was withdrawn in July 2007 because the standard has been incorporated into the revised Practices D 923 for Sampling Electrical Insulating Liquids.
