This test method covers evaluating relative bioresistance of aqueous metalworking fluids by challenging them with a biological inoculum prepared from specific deteriorated metalworking fluid from the user's site.
Formerly under the jurisdiction of Committee E35 on Pesticides and Alternative Control Agents, this test method was withdrawn in April 2004 and replaced by Practice E 2275, for Evaluating Water-Miscible Metalworking Fluid Bioresistance and Antimicrobial Pesticide Performance.
