The method is applicable to antimicrobial agents that are incorporated into either the metal-working fluid concentrate or into the final-use dilution.
Formerly under the jurisdiction of Committee E35 on Pesticides and Alternative Control Agents, this Method was withdrawn in April 2004 and replaced by Practice E 2275 on Evaluating Water-Miscible Metalworking Fluid Bioresistance and Antimicrobial Pesticide Performance.
