4.1 This practice provides for the safe collection of propellants and other hazardous aerospace fluids so that they can be tested and evaluated. The evaluation will generally include tests for contamination and this practice outlines steps that will reduce the chances of gathering contaminants during the collection process.
4.2 This practice should not be performed without specific instructions about the type and usage of personal protective equipment and clean up procedures necessary for the safe handling of the sampled material. Sampling to determine material cleanliness should be performed in duplicate during a single operation as a best practice.
РефератThis practice covers procedures for obtaining a sample of noncryogenic aerospace propellant. Two procedures are covered as follows: procedure 1 (closed system) and procedure 2 (open-end procedure).
