This European Standard specifies a method for the recovery of binder from bitumen emulsions in a manner that will
permit further testing with minimum changing the characteristics of the binder.

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Rückgewinnung des Bindemittels aus Bitumenemulsionen fest, ohne die Kennwerte des Bindemittels zu verändern, wodurch weitere Prüfungen möglich werden. Das rückgewonnene Bindemittel kann mit dem ursprünglichen nicht identisch sein. Es wird eine dünne Schicht Bitumenemulsion auf einem Stück Silikongewebe aufgetragen. Das in der Emulsion enthaltene Wasser verdunstet anschließend bei Umgebungstemperatur und in einer Wärmekammer. Diese Norm enthält normative Verweise und regelt die Prüfeinrichtung und die Durchführung der Prüfung.
