This European Standard specifies requirements and test methods for marketed and delivered ethanol to be used as an extender for automotive fuel for petrol engine vehicles in accordance with the requirements of EN 228. It is applicable to ethanol used for blending at all levels up to and including 85 % (V/V).
Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für angeliefertes bzw. vermarktetes Ethanol fest, das als Streckmittel für Kraftstoffe zum Einsatz in Kraftfahrzeugen mit Ottomotor, in Übereinstimmung mit den Anforderungen von EN 228, Verwendung findet. Die Norm ist für Ethanol für den gesamten Blendbereich bis hin zu und einschließlich 85 % (V/V) Ethanol anwendbar.
