International Standard ISO 6160 was developed by Technical Committee ISO/TC 97,
Computers and information processing, and was circulated to the member bodies in
May 1978.
Programming languages - PL/1
The following national Standards are adopted as ISO International Standard 6160-1979:
- for the English text, ANSI Standard X3.53-1976;
- for the French text, French Standard NF Z 65-500.
