This European Standard specifies the characteristics of square flange mounted receptacles in the family of
circular electrical connectors coupled by threaded ring.
It applies to class defined in Table 3.

and protective covers, see EN 2997-008 and EN 2997-009 respectively.
Diese Norm legt die Merkmale von Steckverbindern mit quadratischem Montageflansch in der Familie der
Rundsteckverbinder mit Schraubkupplung fest.
Sie gilt für die in Tabelle 3 definierte Klasse.
Die für diesen festen Steckverbinder verwendbaren Kontakte, Blindstecker und Endgehäuse siehe
EN 2997-002. Der freie Steckverbinder und die Schutzkappen sind in EN 2997-008 und EN 2997-009
genormt.
