This standard specifies a method of measuring the resistance to cut-through of an insulated conductor or
jacket. This test is limited to cables smaller than code 140 (gauge size 6) and insulations with a thickness of
0,38 mm or less.
It shall be used together with EN 3475-100.
Diese Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Prüfung der Kerbfestigkeit von Adern fest. Diese Prüfung ist auf Adern beschränkt, deren Isolierwanddicke 0,38 mm nicht überschreitet. Sie ist in Verbindung mit EN 3475-100 und ASTM-D-3032-86, Abschnitt 22 - Kerbfestigkeitsprüfung - anzuwenden.
