This standard specifies the electrical, mechanical and environmental characteristics, test methods, test
groups and quality assurance for in-line couplers and other components used in the composition of the
transmission lines of multiplex databus systems in accordance with MIL-STD-1553B.
These couplers may be used at operating temperatures of - 65 °C to 150 °C or 200 °C and at altitudes up to
30 000 m or an altitude as defined in the product standard.
Diese Norm legt die elektrischen, mechanischen und umweltspezifischen Eigenschaften, Prüfverfahren, Prüfgruppen und die Qualitätssicherung für Leitungskoppler und andere Bauelemente von Übertragungsleitungen in Multiplex-Datenbussystemen nach MIL-STD-1553B fest. Diese Koppler sind bei Betriebstemperaturen von -65 °C bis 150 °C oder 200 °C und in Höhenlagen bis 30 000 m oder in der Produktnorm angegebenen Höhenlage einsetzbar.
