This European standard specifies the characteristics of adjustable rod-ends consisting of:
- a spherical plain bearing, metal to metal, in corrosion resisting steel, wide series (EN 4265);
- a rod-end with threaded shank with an optional longitudinal groove for locking purposes.
They are intended for use in fixed or moving parts of the aircraft structure and their control mechanisms.
Diese Europäische Norm legt die Eigenschaften von einstellbaren Gabelköpfen fest bestehend aus:
- einem Gelenklager, Metall auf Metall, aus korrosionsbeständigem Stahl, breite Reihe (EN 4265);
- einem Gabelkopf mit Anzugsgewinde und optional mit Längsrille für Verriegelungszwecke.
Diese sind für den Einsatz in starren oder beweglichen Flugwerkteilen und deren Betätigungsmechanismen vorgesehen.
