This European standard specifies the characteristics of adjustable rod ends consisting of:
- a spherical plain bearing, metal to metal, in corrosion resisting steel, extra wide series (EN 6097);
- a rod-end with threaded shank with an optional longitudinal groove for locking purposes.
They are intended for use in fixed or moving parts of the aircraft structure and their control mechanisms.
Diese Europäische Norm legt die Eigenschaften von einstellbaren Ösenköpfen mit folgenden Bestandteilen fest:
- ein Gelenklager, Metall auf Metall, aus korrosionsbeständigem Stahl, extra breite Reihe (EN 6097);
- ein Ösenkopf mit Gewinde mit optionaler Längsnut zu Verriegelungszwecken.
Sie sind für die Verwendung in starren oder beweglichen Flugwerkteilen und deren Kontrollmechanismen bestimmt.
