This part of ISO 10893 specifies requirements for automated ultrasonic testing for the detection of laminar
imperfections
a) in the pipe body (full peripheral testing) of seamless and welded, except submerged arc-welded (SAW),
steel tubes, or
b) in the area adjacent to the weld seam of welded steel tubes, and optionally
c) at the ends (full peripheral testing) of seamless and welded tubes.
This part of ISO 10893 can also be applicable to the testing of circular hollow sections.
Dieser Teil der ISO 10893 legt die Anforderungen an die automatisierte Ultraschallprüfung zum Nachweis von
Dopplungen
a) im Rohrkörper (Prüfung über den gesamten Rohrumfang) nahtloser und geschweißter Rohre, mit
Ausnahme unterpulvergeschweißter (SAW-) Stahlrohre, oder
b) im an die Schweißnaht angrenzenden Bereich geschweißter Rohre und, optional,
c) der Enden (Prüfung über den gesamten Rohrumfang) nahtloser und geschweißter Rohre,
fest.
Dieses Dokument kann auch für die Prüfung von kreisförmigen Hohlprofilen angewendet werden.
