This part of ISO 12209 specifies the characteristics of the threaded type outlet connections for gas cylinder valves
for compressed breathable air cylinders, up to a maximum cylinder working pressure of 230 bar and 300 bar. It
states the fundamental requirements for both the connection and its components and includes basic dimensions.
This part of ISO 12209 is not applicable to connections described in EN 144-2[1].
Annex A gives the outlet connection prototype qualification test procedures.
Festgelegt sind die wesentlichen Eigenschaften für Seitenverbindungen mit Gewinde von Gasflaschenventilen für verdichtete Atemluft bis zu einem maximalen Arbeitsdruckbereich von 230 bar und 300 bar. Die Anforderungen gelten sowohl für den Anschluss selbst als auch für die Einzelteile und umfassen auch die Grundmaße. Weiters ist ein Prototyp-Prüfverfahren für den Seitenstutzen enthalten.
