This European Standard specifies a method for the determination of ochratoxin A (OTA) at levels
greater than 3 µg/kg-
The method has been successfully validated in interlaboratory studies according to ISO 5725:1986 Ell
on whole barley containing 2,9 µg/kg, 3,0 pg/kg, 7,4 N.0/kg and 14,4 µg/kg of ochratoxin A, on Nevi-Iola
maize containing 8,2 pg/kg and 1 6,3 µg/kg of ochratoxin A as well as on wheat bran containing 3,8
pg/kg and 4,5 pg/kg of ochratoxin A.
NOTE: Numerous laboratory experiences have shown that this method is also applicable to
wheat flour.
Diese Europäische Norm legt ein hochleistungs-flüssigchromatographisches Verfahren (HPLC) zur Bestimmung von
Ochratoxin A (OTA) von mehr als 3 pg/kg fest.
Dieses Verfahren ist in Ringversuchen nach ISO 57251996 [l] erfolgreich validiert worden an Gerste mit einem
Ochratoxin-A-Gehalt von 2,9 pgkg, 3,O pg/kg, 7,4 pgkg und 14,4 pgkg, an Mais mit einem Ochratoxin-A-Gehalt von
8,2 vg/kg und 16,3 pg/kg und an Weizenkleie mit einem Ochratoxin-A-Gehalt von 3,8 pg/kg und 4,5 pg/kg.
ANMERKUNG: Zahlreiche Laborerfahrungen haben gezeigt, daß dieses Verfahren auch auf Weizenmehl anwendbar
ist.
