Diese ÖNORM gilt für dentale Einbettmassen, Löteinbettmassen und hochtemperaturbeständige Stumpfmaterialien, unabhängig der Art des Bindersystems oder der speziellen Anwendung. Diese Norm klassifiziert Einbettmassen in Typen entsprechend der vorgesehenen Verwendung und in Klassen entsprechend dem durch den Hersteller empfohlenen Vorwärmverfahren. Diese ÖNORM legt Anforderungen an die wesentlichen physikalischen und mechanischen Eigenschaften der Materialien sowie an die bei der Bestimmung anzuwendenden Prüfverfahren fest.
