This International Standard specifies the nominal diameters of the working Parts of dental rotary instruments, for example burs, laboratory burs, grinding instruments, diamond instruments, mandrels,
etc. and the corresponding designation. It does not cover the diameters of root canal instruments.
In dieser Internationalen Norm sind die Nenndurchmesser fur die Arbeitsteile zahnärztlicher rotierender Instrumente, wie zum Beispiel Bohrer, Laborbohrer, Schleifinstrumente, Diamantinstrumente,
Mandreile usw. und die entsprechenden Bezeichnung aufgefuhrt . Diese ÖNORM gilt nicht für die Durchmesser von Wurzelkanalinstrumenten.
