This document defines terms related to carbon nano-objects in the field of nanotechnologies.
It is intended to facilitate communication between organizations’ and individuals’ research, industry and other interested parties and those who interact with them. Additional terms and definitions for graphene and two-dimensional materials (2D) materials are provided in ISO/TS 80004-13.

Dieses Dokument definiert Benennungen zu Kohlenstoff-Nanoobjekten für das Gebiet der Nanotechnologie.
Ziel ist die Erleichterung der Kommunikation zwischen in der Forschung tätigen Organisationen und Einzelpersonen, der Industrie und anderen interessierten Parteien und denjenigen, die mit ihnen zusammenarbeiten. Weitere Benennungen und Definitionen zu Graphen und zweidimensionalen (2D)-Materialien sind in ISO/TS 80004-13 enthalten.
